RT isn't a Gophers fan. Say what you want about the season, but they were invited to a bowl game and won it and he just can't ever let that be the talking point.

Mayo bowl is a quality bowl game..

Solid effort. Can’t help but think what if that onside kick ruling wasn’t botched and if kesich makes that fg game one, but old news now.

Our rodents are never going to be a national power so I guess I'm ok with what has taken place during PJ's era. Give me a team the wins 7-9 games, gets a bowl invite, wins the bowl, and avoids scandals and I'm on board! Oh, and win a handful of those trophy games as well!

It's better to win than lose, but the result didn't really matter. What matters is the growth that was made this year and if they can build upon that at all.
I was about ready to be done with Fleck, but he finally took the stick out of his ass and realized that managing a game like you're terrified that something might go wrong isn't a winning formula, and it also results in a bland, boring brand of football. What looked like a very questionable DC hire, coupled with letting that guy trust his players and be more aggressive resulted in a pretty good defense. And although they lose plenty of defense, they also return what could end up being the most impactful Gopher in our lifetimes (Sorry, Koi. No pressure or anything).
Obviously the big question going into 25 is QB. It was very refreshing to have someone in that spot that knew what the hell he was doing, and with the exception of being all over the map with any throw over 20 yards, was as good as most of us have seen. I assume it's Lindsey's job to lose, but if he can come anywhere close to running a more open and creative offense like Brosmer did, next year could be something special.
