John Deacon
Born: August 19, 1951
English retired musician, best known for being the bassist
for the rock band Queen. He composed several songs for
the group, including Top 10 hits "You're My Best Friend",
"Another One Bites the Dust", and "I Want to Break Free";
co-wrote "Under Pressure", "Friends Will Be Friends" and
"One Vision", and he was involved in the band's financial
management.

Robert Plant
Born: August 20, 1948
English singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the English
rock band Led Zeppelin...A powerful and wide vocal range (particularly evident in his
high-registered vocals) has given Plant a successful singing career spanning more than
50 years. In 2008, Rolling Stone editors ranked him number 15 on their list of the 100
best singers of all time. In 2011, Rolling Stone readers ranked Plant the greatest of all
lead singers. In 2006, Hit Parader magazine named Plant the "Greatest Metal Vocalist
of All Time". In 2009, Plant was voted "the greatest voice in rock" in a poll conducted
by Planet Rock.

James Burton
Born: August 21, 1939
James Edward Burton is an American guitarist. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame since 2001 (his induction speech was given by longtime fan Keith Richards), Bur-
ton has also been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of
Fame and Museum. He was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2024. Critic
Mark Deming writes that "Burton has a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest
guitar pickers in either country or rock ... Burton is one of the best guitar players to
ever touch a fretboard." He is ranked number 24 in Rolling Stone list of 250 greatest
guitarists of all time.

Roland Orzabel
Born: August 22, 1961
English musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and author. He is best known as
a co-founder of Tears for Fears, of which he is the main songwriter and joint vocalist,
but he has also achieved success as a producer of other artists. In 2014, Orzabal pub-
lished his first novel.

Tommy Stinson
Born: October 6, 1966
American rock musician. He came to prominence in the 1980s
as the bass guitarist for The Replacements, one of the defini-
tive American alternative rock groups. After their breakup in
1991, Stinson formed Bash & Pop, acting as lead vocalist, guit-
arist and frontman. In the mid-1990s he was the singer and
bassist for the rock band Perfect, and eventually joined the
hard rock band Guns N' Roses in 1998.
