Maybe not. They'll probably tank. Send 'em Wiggins.

They are done for the season and should tank.

Give them Covington, Culver, Draft Pick, Teague or Napier.......they pick the combination.

If Rosas is serious about making this Team better, he needs a PG.

Get it done.

GO WOLVES!!

Steve Kerr just announced that Draymond Green “will be on a games and minutes schedule this season”.

D Russell will be available to trade in December.

Looks like warriors going full tank.

Would you do Teague, Culver, and 2020 1st for Dlo?

Warriors don't want that crap. They want Covington. We want to give Wiggins which makes the most sense to me.

KAT Cov D'ang is a good trio. Go get Booker later and you've got the 3 amigos.

I’ll drive Covington and Culver to the airport....not giving a first on top though. They can have Teague....that is big cap relief for them.

With all the stuff that went down, and with us taking players off their hands to help them get room to get the original deal done, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rosas and the GSW GM didn’t have something under the table brewing from the beginning.

People here are overvaluing Covington. Put him back at the 3 and see if he remembers how to play, he has been a garbage bench player at the 4 so far this season.

I have issues with DLO in that I don’t think he is all that good, and the fact he is likely to get shipped again says a lot about the dude....there are warts.

GO WOLVES!!

Why would the suns want to trade booker and what do we have to offer for him?

The warriors want young talent and assets

This. We have nothing they would take for him not named Towns.

I don’t have any particular dislike of GS, I actually enjoy the way they play basketball, but their offseason has been peculiar. The Russell S&T was a weird fit imho, the Iggy trade was a net negative for them to make it possible , and then they basically handed the Wolves Napier and Treveon Graham, who they could no doubt use in their rotation. I’m fine with the Draymond extension because you win with guys like him but other than his extension I thought Bob Myers made questionable decisions, especially for a smart executive like him.

There was a need to maximize the return on losing Durant, so DLo was about the only possibility. It was more about maximizing assets.

"I'm losing my house, but I'll take the Corvette in return if that's my only option even though I have 4 kids and need a minivan. I'll just trade the Corvette in for a minivan and then some later on."

Iggy was a huge loss, but financially they had to move him. And I'm sure they saw Napier and Graham as just pieces, nothing special that couldnt be replaced with other vet min guys.

If Klay was healthy it all looks very different. Along with Looney and WCS.

So they'll tank this year, get a top 3 pick and roll out another championship quality team with the pieces to start the next dynasty.

C - Wiseman
PF - Draymond
SF - Klay
SG - DLo
PG - Curry

I don't see Kerr coaching into his 60s, though.

I don't see Dlo on the next great Warriors team. He is the quintessential pick n roll PG, and few teams have run LESS pnr than the Warriors. It's not what they do(refreshingly in many ways) and I think they will trade him next offseason, although I don't think the Wolves are likely at all. I think you are 100% correct on your views if the Warriors went in feeling like they would struggle and would get a pick. But I'm not sure on that. They made some decisions in line with competing for the playoffs, and some decisions in line with competing down the line. Getting Dlo made sense in terms of getting any asset for losing KD, but they gave up a pick(albeit protected) to Brooklyn there, and then another 1st in the Iggy trade, and then waived Shaun Livingston and didn't want Graham who I feel would help them(Napier not so much). The WCS signing was a good low risk high reward move. The draft picks were perplexing to me personally, but I'm not going to get too into the weeds there because we don't have any idea on how good Poole or Paschall will be. Losing two 1sts to get Russell who isn't a fit imo is my biggest critique, although you make good points on why they felt it had to be done.

His coach knows the motherfucker is worthless on his own and going to tank because Green fucking sucks and couldn’t do shit to support what is there now. Agreed. It's funny to watch the GS shit birds eat one.

They run "Such a system" and Kerr "Really gets it"

Erik Spolestra went to finals with a loaded team.

The "Game is positionless" J will tell you.

Pretty easy to say that when your team has 5 all stars. Said it before. We will see what kerrs "System" looks like without 5 all stars.

Not really fair to Kerr. Yeah, he had a bunch of superstars, and shit, he helped them to multiple titles...but with that, he wasn't able to bring in any talent via the draft. With Klay and Curry out now, he's got literally nothing to work with, other than a bunch of 2nd rounders. I don't know what you expect out of him, to prove his worth as a coach.

He and Curry together literally broke the game.

Now, this...this is an excellent take. Its near impossible to create what the Warriors were...but, you can create what the Raptors were. Old school beat new school this last finals, maybe in part of key injuries...but its much easier to create a team like last years Raptors, compared to the GSW dynasty...probably best to stop trying to emulate a transcendent team, and just work with what you have...the Warriors didn't become a dominate team because of some great vision. They became dominate by accumulating talent, and then coaching and GMins to the strength of that talent. The next champion will not win the title by copying the Warriors, they will have done so by accumulating talent, and coaching to the strenghts of that talent.

J2J will tell you this is how "Systems" are run. Denying the facts that you cant run offenses like that without some of the best players on the planet.

To Jon it was "Spacing" and the way they "Moved the ball"

The Wolves could "Kick it around" all night and most of them won't hit the shot.

Pretty easy to do when you have Durant, Curry, Kaly, Draymond etc.

The little Saunders boy could draw up some of the best sequences the leagu ever seen with those players too.
