No. I did have a chance to go there in the late 80's with USA TODAY. It was a 1 year commitment and the oldest kids mom did not want to go with a 2 year old.
As a 24 year old, that would have been a fun experience. Now, getting on a plane for that long, no thanks.

I’ve ordered a ton of linen pieces (including sheets and pajamas) from Quince. They have some nice men’s trousers (with a zipper and button) and more casual styles too.

Also - my favorite toothpaste is Italian! You can get it here, but the US version doesn’t contain fluoride and if I wanted cavities I’d just brush with water.
So it’s a bummer not having it readily available. I found it at a pharmacy in Bruges last summer and bought 6 tubes. Struck out in London, but have found it in Paris. Anyway - if you’re looking to level up your toothpaste game and bring back a practical souvenir…

Switzerland
My brother-in-law moved there for work for a couple of years with his family - they had 2 very small girls at the time. Their third daughter was born there, so we call her our “Swiss miss”. They thought it was a fabulous experience.

I prefer Marvis. But when I run out and don’t have a European trip on the horizon, I’ll slum it with Colgate or something.

It was much better suited for a single person. And that was my ex's point. Working for them here in the Twin Cities was already crazy. This was the early years of that operation. There was no "normal". And my first wonderful exposure to you cube jockeys fucking up life from Corp headquaters. But it was a lot of fun with all the sporting events we had tickets to, going to other markets for computer changes as they grew.
And General Mills almost sunk the newspaper and no one wanted to listen to SG who was spot on in my assessment of the promotion with between USA Today and GM.
