Elton John - enough already

Post by Leon »

so he puts out another "greatest hits " package ? how is this one different from the others he already has put out? there is nothing new on the "Diamonds" compilation that would make me even think about buying it --- it's supposed to be a refection of his 50 year writing partnership with Bernie Taupin, yet there are songs on it that were written by others....he was on Colbert last night and made his way thru Crocodile Rock and I'm Still Standing ....yawn....his voice isn't holding up at all -- the songs don't even sound remotely like they once did ---i'll give EJ all the credit he deserves for writing some all time classic songs, but at 70 years old isn't it time to think about riding off into he sunset ???? i understand its all about what the fans want -- he keeps touring because the demand from the fans is still there --

Didn't Bernie Torme die? No new material in how long? Might as well be playing the Casino circuit.

I've ran the numbers and the analytics just don't add up to being elite anymore.

You thinking of Mel Torme?

Bernie is alive and well.
