Best ideas for a playoff game WITHOUT money on the line?

Post by CasualObserverGuy »

So for our 5th place game in our work league the teams have decided to field an entire starting team from 1 team each.

So it's going to be a fantasy roster of Jacksonville vs. Tampa Bay. It's really too bad they couldn't find 2 teams that were actually playing each other this week.

I like the concept. The commissioner put a lock on the players dropped so that the Championship Game teams couldn't pick any of them up.

Anybody got other concepts they've seen?

owners of shitty fantasy teams don't have actual interest by this time of year.

Locking the championship teams out of picking up any available players is something I would never be in favor of.

Locking them out is a fair thing to do for the Championship game if you're in a league with waiver order. Who's to say that either team vying for the championship is more deserving of a better waiver spot than the other?

Anyway, that's a separate matter, I think waiver order or FAAB is a lame way to keep bad managers from getting fleeced.
