Well, one of those PFs off the board. Precious Achiuwa signs a 2yr/$11.5M deal to remain in Sacto. That's right about exactly the money I was hearing. Now go get Yabusele.
Good, I don't think I could root for a guy named Precious.

I want to see Bronny and the Antetokounmpo brothers bring their talents to Utah.
They could get Scottie Pippen Jr., Seth Curry, Cole Anthony, and Gary Payton II to run with them. Call them the “Yes, we know you play basketball too” team.

Why did they have to wait to resign Bones? Not a fan of this one. It leaves us with less money to work with - and Bones was AWOL vs the Spurs when we needed some bench O. 3 points in 6 games. 1 for 16. I don't get this.
All Time Draft 2025
PG - Kidd, Iverson, D Johnson
SG - Reggie, Hill, Richmond
SF - Kawhi, Hawkins, Ellis
PF - Hakeem, Cowens, Perkins
C - Wilt, Alonzo, Thurmond
There is little difference between the memory of a real event and the memory of a dream.

This signing HAS to mean Conley is on his way out, right?

I think we're trading for our PF. Nobody with the money we have is a suitable starting PF on a championship contender. Connelly is going to get someone in a deal.

He’s our 3pg. Pretty damn good one at that. Minimum deal. Hard to argue the reasoning .
Our Pf is I’m more likely coming via trade rather than Fa signing

Thats why we were able to sign him for the minimum. Completely fine with the signing, and someone who can play heavy minutes in a pinch in the regular season if some guys need a night off.

I think we should trade for one and then find another with whatever exception we can use.

Yeah. I would like some more forward depth too. Just Jaden and a mythical PF is still thin. I would like a decent backup forward

He’s our 3pg. Pretty damn good one at that. Minimum deal. Hard to argue the reasoning .
Our Pf is I’m more likely coming via trade rather than Fa signing
Can we somehow add Jalen Smith (Bulls) into the big trade utilizing Josh Green?

Here's why I'm not jazzed about Bones - aside from the other reasons. First, this feels like a "i made a promise" signing by Connelly. Second, some of you may have seen my wish list. Jevon Carter is on it - who I believe will also sign somewhere for the vet min. He's ten times the defender Bones is - and nearly matches Bones in career shooting efficiency. I think he's a better player than Bones. Is Bones more creative with the ball - yeah, likely. But that sure didn't do us much good against the Spurs in the playoffs - where'd he go? If DDV is injured all year - and two of your other PG options are now Lamelo Ball and Bones Hyland, our defense at the 1 is simply going to suck.

Where? I haven't see that - but regardless, it's not happening here because of the Bones signing.
Do we have any agreement here that the PG D will be sketchy at best? Maybe Ayo is going to get a lot of minutes there - but I'll assume LaMelo is getting the bulk.

Pretty sure I saw Carter resigned with someone.
Sorry yum he has not signed.
I’m not real up to snuff on Carter, I’ll admit. But to split hairs over a 3PG that won’t see the court most nights isn’t going tk get me worked up over.
Familiarity probably plays a part too. They might had several offers out there and said 1st one to take the offer gets it too. Who knows?

I’m sure in late game situations Ayo will be the D PG out there.

Cause we aren't going over the 2nd apron anyways and are inching in on it.
