That honestly is probably the easiest part of this whole thing.

Nets will be willing to work with Russell and his reps on ways to get him to a team of his choice, including sign-and-trade scenarios, league sources tell ESPN. If Russell and Nets found a sign-and-trade deal that works for both, obviously, there's no need to renounce his rights.

Free agency should have "started" at noon today.

What will you do if it happens?
It won't happen, not worried. I could see one 1st or Okogie not two 1sts and some 2nds. That is the modern historical value, if we were to pay more than that, knowing that, then Rosas isn't likely any good. It is a good test to see where he is at. So what will I do? Drink...alot! But I would do that anyways.
Update?

My plans are still fluid...see what I did there.

It is not going to cost two firsts in a s&t, still not worried.

Danny Cunningham's article said a protected first to the team who takes Teague and a second to the Nets.

That is more realistic. In a vaccum I would prefer to try and clear space, because it shouldn't cost a first, but that is far harder than a S&T.

You are also wrong. He said TWO firsts.

"Altogether, that deal would be Teague, Bates-Diop, Reynolds, the Wolves 2020 first and the Wolves 2022 first for the opportunity to have D’Angelo Russell on a maximum contract."

This is the same thing I said to you on page 26 and you disagreed with me.. or something. I don't know where you pulled the two firsts from. Maybe I mentioned that previously when I discussed giving up multiple firsts if you could clear enough room for Harris AND Russell.

No, this is what I disagreed with. Read what you post buddy.

"Altogether, that deal would be Teague, Bates-Diop, Reynolds, the Wolves 2020 first and the Wolves 2022 first for the opportunity to have D’Angelo Russell on a maximum contract."

My opinion is Two firsts in a S&T is crazy and not going to happen. Nets may get Two 2nds and the team that takes Teauge may get a first because they have leverage. But because we waived Reynolds to get to the Max or near Max Okogie needs to likely go (KBD) not enough, I don't think. They may view that like a first. That is all. Maybe Russell will come here for around 20 million? Then it is likely a first and we can keep Josh.

Wolves got first meeting. Russell's people know he's a fall back for Kawhi.

I just searched my posts for Reynolds. I can't find where I said the bolded above. Are you quoting someone else? Show me the post please. Thanks.

What Dane Moore wrote and what I said would be the deal laid out by him:
Teague + KBD + Cam Reynolds in a sign and trade for a maxed Russell. Teague would go to a third team likely with a future first round, maybe top 5-6 protected for 2020. And then you'd compensate the Nets with maybe a second in addition to KBD and Reynolds. You can substitute Okogie for that but I'm guessing Minnesota doesn't want to do that.

You didn't say it, the article you posted did. Moore has his idea of a S&T, that is fine, it is close in my opinion. The article calling for TWO firsts in a S&T is not fine and unrealistic. That is what I was responding to.
